Read through the notes to prepare yourself for your call/make sure the candidate has not already been presented for the role you are recruiting on. Make sure to document all emails/conversation that takes place between you and your candidate. Also – be mindful of the Recruiting Rules/Policies regarding candidate ownership. (below)

How to Submit a Candidate via Bullhorn to VMS:

 

1. Navigate to the job in Bullhorn. In the top right corner, click the “Actions” dropdown and select “Submit to VMS” at the bottom of the dropdown.

 

 

2. Search the candidate’s name and select them from the dropdown.Then click “Create”.

 

  1. Candidate’s First, Last, and email will already be filled in. Fill in “Initial Personal ID” which is the birthdate of the candidate (month and day). This information will be on the recruiter’s submission.
  2. Check the candidate’s resume to see if they were a former employee or contractor with Comcast. Most often you will input “No” to both questions:
  3. Input the date the candidate is available:
  4. Upload the candidate’s resume or select the resume from the Attachments list of documents already uploaded to Bullhorn for that candidate. Ensure the resume included does not contain candidate’s contact information.
  5. Under Candidate Information, choose “W2” for Resource ID. 
  6. Input the candidate’s qualifications into Supplier Comments (found on original submission)
  7. Select the checkbox labeled “Completed” for the Pre-Employment screening question.
  8. Select “No” to the U.S compliance question.
  9. Input the Bill Rate that you are submitting for the candidate into the Submitted Rate section.
  10. In Bullhorn Fields, selec Source as “Bullhorn” and input the full submission from the recruiter into the Comment. This is private and will not be shared to the VMS.
  11. Click “Submit” on the bottom right once all required info has been entered.
  12. Click “Submit” again on the pop-up
  13. The submittal may take a couple minutes to go through
  14. You will receive this screen when the candidate has been successfully submitted.Click “Done” to complete the submission.
